With a chill in the air, we’re all about tummy warming foods! We’ve rounded up a few of our favorites, including split pea soup and chowders from Denville Seafood, beef stew from Thatxhers, ramen from Bubble in Paradise and soup from Hunan Taste. What are you going for?

We stopped in to @secondhalfonmain today for a bite to eat at lunch. We love their burgers and you’ll get 10% off your check with their Restaurant Week deal (ends today!). We started with the calamari appetizer, and then dug into our favorite Burgundy Burger (we sub with bleu cheese) and a patty melt. So good, fast and friendly service and completely satiated!

We can’t resist a visit to The Pasta Shop, especially during Restaurant Week! Their Ziti Norcina special with Homemade Sausage, Truffle Cream, Pecorino, and Fennel Pollen is not to be missed and literally the stuff dreams are made of, and one of us never passes up the sweet corn and mascarpone ravioli when it’s on the menu. Whatever dish you order, you won’t be disappointed! The service was impeccable as always, and it’s truly a special place in downtown Denville.

Celebrating Fall flavors (and Restaurant Week!) at Playa Bowls on Broadway. From 3-8 pm today and tomorrow, take advantage of their Restaurant Week Happy Hour deal with 50% off cold brews and 10% off their Fall specials. We loved their Apple Turn Up Açaí Bowl (açaí topped with blueberry flax granola, banana, apple diced, apple butter, chopped peanuts, and cinnamon) and Pumpkin Sweet Cream Cold Brew (pumpkin sweet cream and oat milk).
